The Brandeis University Department of History seeks to hire a full-time Lecturer in American History for the coming academic year. While specialization is open, we seek an excellent teacher who meets departmental needs by offering a range of undergraduate courses that expand our offerings chronologically, methodologically, and geographically; there is also the possibility of teaching a graduate seminar. The successful candidate will teach five courses, engage in related service (senior thesis advising, etc.), and interact informally with graduate students.
