The Elite Master's program Standards of Decision-Making Across Cultures of the Elite Network of Bavaria at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg offers a research fellowship starting 1st of October 2017.
Research Fellow
(100%, TVL E13 , initially limited to one year)
The research fellowship works closely with the yearly changing guest professorship of the program. Most important beside this is the assumption of the sinological teaching assignment as well as the general support of the program's organization, events and public relations activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support of and close collaboration with the guest professorship
- Teaching assignments (at least 5 hours per week and semester in Mandarin Chinese)
- Preparation and follow-up of events
- Support of publications
- Website maintenance
- Public relations work
Requirements:
- Qualified degree with focus on sinology or east-asian cultures
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- Proficiency in oral and written Mandarin Chinese (academic level)
- Teaching experience (preferred)
The appointment is initially limited to a period of one year and can be extended for up to four additional years.
