The Honors College at the University of Houston is hiring an Assistant Director for its Speech & Debate Program/Visiting Assistant Professor in the 2017-2018 academic year. Responsibilities include regular team travel, argumentation research, team administration, and teaching courses at the university. Houston residency or relocation to Houston and valid driver’s license required.
PhD preferred, ABD considered. Applications should include a CV and Cover Letter detailing your experience as a debate coach (NDT/CEDA), including administrative experience, and list of references. Application review begins immediately, and will continue until a decision on the position has been made.
