The Faculty of History and the Arts invites applications for a
Full Professorship (W3)
of European History of the 19th and 20th centuries (Chair)
commencing on 1 April 2018.
In the capacities of both research and teaching, the future holder of this position is expected to address European developments in the context of their historical dimensions. Highly desirable are innovative research foci that deal with Europe’s interrelations within the Continent and with the rest of the world during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
