Modern Europe. The Department of History at the University of Miami seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for academic year 2017-2018 in Modern European History. We are seeking candidates with a specialization in fields other than modern French, German, Italian, or Russian history. Candidates should be prepared to teach the survey course on Europe since 1648, and courses on nationalism and Europe in the World, as well as courses in the field of their specialty. The teaching assignment will be 3/3. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in hand by August 2017.Please send a letter of application, c.v., and a writing sample by email and PDF attachment to Modern European Search, Department of History (place "Modern European Search" in subject line of email).
