The School of Arts and Humanities at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Middle Eastern history, specialization and period open. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to research and publishing, undergraduate and graduate teaching, interdisciplinary education and professional academic service. The candidate must be open to teaching a one semester or two semester survey of Middle Eastern history. PhD in appropriate field is required.
The School offers an interdisciplinary program built on three interrelated areas: Literary Studies, Historical Studies and Aesthetic Studies. UT Dallas is a dynamic, growing research institution with a diverse student body and a strong research faculty. Salary competitive.
