Mediterranean World
The Department of History at Bradley University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the Mediterranean World to begin August 2017. Candidates should have extensive teaching experience and an active research program. PhD in History required by date of appointment. Proven ability to teach the history of the pre-Islamic and Islamic Middle East as well as the classical Mediterranean world is strongly preferred. Proven ability to teach survey courses in Western Civilization, early World History, and introductory courses in Digital Humanities is desired. Preference will be given to research fields in the Ancient Near East.
