Creighton University’s Department of History seeks a candidate with research and teaching specializations in the history of Sub-Saharan Africa, with secondary competence in African-American history or the history of the African diaspora preferred. There is an expectation of an active research agenda and service to the Department, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the University. This position will be full-time, tenure track at the rank of assistant professor, beginning in August of 2017. Ph.D. in hand and evidence of excellent teaching and scholarly potential required.
