Position:
The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a renewable, non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Department of History beginning August, 2017.
Qualifications:
ABDs may apply, but a PhD in history is required when the position commences in August 2017. Possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
Responsibilities:
Teach four 3 credit courses per semester. Teach sections of the lower-division survey of modem United States history, and, depending upon department needs, teach sections of Towson University's first-year student seminar in research and writing, or a section of the upper-division course in the LBGTQ History of the U.S.

Send a one to two-page letter of application, a two or three-page curriculum vitae, two letters of recommendation, official graduate-school transcripts, and one sample syllabus for an introductory course in modem U.S. history.
