Bard College at Simon’s Rock invites applications for a one-semester visiting full-time position in U.S. History, for the Spring 2016 term beginning January 2016. The full-time time teaching load at Simon’s Rock is three courses per semester, and the ideal candidate will be prepared to teach one introductory-level course in U.S. history, one introductory history course with a more global focus (e.g., the Americas, immigration, or another world region), and one course in the candidate’s area of interest. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and experience in college teaching.

Bard College at Simon's Rock, located in western Massachusetts, is the only four-year college in the US specifically designed to allow bright, highly motivated adolescents to begin college immediately after the tenth or eleventh grade.
