The Department of History at the University of Utah seeks to appoint a tenure-line assistant professor in African American History (1600-present), research specialization and time period open. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to research and teach at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, including upper division courses on African American history, as well as to contribute to the teaching of an undergraduate course in historical methodology.
