The Department of History at Sam Houston State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the history of Sub-Saharan Africa, to begin Fall 2016. Research field and period are open. The department seeks an active scholar to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in African history and also the World History survey. Ph.D. must be completed before the start of the appointment.
