The Department of History and Geography at Texas Christian University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant or associate level in U.S./Mexico Borderlands, with specializations in any period from the Spanish period through today. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, directing graduate students at the M.A. and Ph.D. levels, and carrying out a scholarly research and publication program. A Ph.D. in history or related field must be awarded prior to the start date of the appointment (August 2016).
