The Department of History and Political Science invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position as Assistant professor of Political Science beginning January or August 2016. Area of specialization: State and local Government; desired secondary fields in Public Policy (especially environmental, immigration and/or gender and politics) , Public Administration and American Government and Politics. The successful candidate will be both an active scholar and an excellent classroom instructor, able to teach a broad range of introductory and advanced undergraduate courses. A Ph.D. is required, as is a willingness to support the Catholic Benedictine tradition of Saint Martin’s University.
