The Government Department at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a tenure-track position in American Government.
Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach in some or all of the following areas of Public Law, (including Law and the Courts, Constitutional Law, and Environmental Law), and American National Institutions (including the Presidency and Congress). While the Department seeks those with expertise generally in the fields and related specializations in Public Law and American National Institutions, it particularly encourages candidates who have an interest in racial and ethnic politics within these fields. Position begins August 2016.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates with a Ph.D. in Political Science or related field in hand preferred, though ABD candidates may be considered.
