U.S. / World: Colonial and Early Republic. The History Department at the University of Oregon seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor to begin September 16, 2016. We seek an innovative, rigorous scholar and teacher whose focus is on the global dimensions of colonial American and early U.S. history. A commitment to excellence in scholarship and teaching is required. The successful candidate must be able to teach a variety of graduate and undergraduate history courses. Ph.D. required at time of appointment.
