The Department of History at Bowling Green State University invites applications for a full-time, renewable, one-year instructorship in European and World History to begin August 2015. The successful applicant must possess a PhD in history at the time of employment, with experience in teaching surveys in Early and/or Modern World History. Teaching assignment includes World History surveys and European History courses in the successful applicant’s area of specialization. Application materials include a CV, at least three current original letters of reference (letters are considered current if dated within one calendar year of the date received by the Search Committee), and official transcript(s) showing the highest degree earned and any subsequent coursework.
