The University of Central Florida is seeking applications for a nine month tenure-track assistant professor position in Ancient Greece and/or Roman History. The faculty member will be expected to teach in these fields at the B.A. and M.A. level, be able to direct theses, while pursuing a research agenda of their own. UCF is a growing metropolitan university with an enrollment of over 60,000 that has maintained an atmosphere of personal instruction. The department offers a B.A. and M.A. in history and offers a public history component as part of its curriculum. Minimum Requirements: A Ph.D. in History or a related field from an accredited institution is required at the time of hire.
