Visiting Assistant Professor, American History post 1877.
The Department of History at the College of Wooster invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in Recent American history beginning August 2015. We welcome candidates with expertise in any area of American History since 1877. All sub-fields are welcome, we are especially interested in those candidates who specialties complement the existing offerings of the Department. The successful candidate will teach a two-semester survey in American history as well as topical courses in her/his field of expertise. She/he will also supervise undergraduate research in the Independent Study Program, the College’s program of faculty-mentored undergraduate research. PhD preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.
