The Robert A. and Sandra S. Borns Jewish Studies Program at Indiana University invites applications for a Visiting Scholar for the 2015-2016 academic year. The Visiting Scholar will be expected to teach two semesters of Introductory Biblical Hebrew (one course in fall and one in spring). The position provides a stipend of $40,000, and the successful applicant will also be able to apply for some research funding from the Program. Ph.D. in Jewish Studies or a related field is desirable, but suitable ABD candidates will also be considered.
