The Department of History at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Modern Eastern European History, with a start date of 1 August 2015.
The successful candidate will have a completed PhD in History; will have a proven track record in excellence in undergraduate teaching at all levels; and will have a record of excellence in scholarly research including publications appropriate to their stage of career. Applicants should have the breadth and versatility to teach a variety of undergraduate courses. The successful candidate will be prepared to participate actively in our MA program and be suitable for appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
