THE DEPARTMENT OF HEBREW AND COMPARATIVE LITERATURE
The Hebrew and Comparative Literature Department invites candidates with approved Ph.D in the field of Medieval Hebrew Literature to apply for a tenure-track position, level open, pending budgetary approval. The position requires a full teaching load, graduate thesis supervision, and research activity. Language of instruction: Hebrew. A broader area of competence (for example: other periods of Hebrew Literature, Medieval Arabic or Romance Literatures.) Teaching experience and research in a leading academic institute after completion the Ph.D will be of an asset.
Candidates are asked to submit:
2.Three confidential letters of recommendation directly sent to the department.
3.A two page description of research activity and future plans.
4.Two writing samples.

Selected candidates will be asked to give a talk at the University of Haifa. The department, the faculty, and the university are not committed to accept any proposal.
