Colgate University, Visiting Assistant Professor, two-year position beginning Fall 2014 with primary responsibilities as a Colgate Bicentennial Research Fellow, to assist with research on the history of Colgate, mainly within the university archives; and to assist with bicentennial events, including the development of traveling and on-campus exhibits, a web-based history project, and other related activities. The position also includes the possibility of teaching one or more courses in the History Department. Applicants should have History Ph.D. in hand. Preference will be given to candidates with fields in one or more of the following areas: the history of higher education, digital humanities, public history, oral history, US history. Developing and sustaining a diverse faculty, staff, and student body further the University’s educational mission.
