The Department of History, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies invites applications from qualified candidates for a one-year Sessional Assistant Professor position in the Middle East since 1800. Required qualifications include a completed PhD in History and an ongoing program of scholarly research in Middle East history. Applicants must demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in teaching and in scholarly research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses in the Middle East history, including upper-level undergraduate courses. The appointment carries a teaching load of three full courses or the equivalent.
