The Department of History at the University of Southern Indiana seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor. PhD or advanced ABD in public history or closely related field with direct experience in public history required by start date of August 2014. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load in history, with opportunities to teach courses for the Arts and Heritage Administration minor. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, an active research agenda, and commitment to service to the university and the community also required.
