Full-time Post-Doc position in post-1945 history
The Institut für Zeitgeschichte München – Berlin (Institute for Contemporary History Munich – Berlin) offers
a full-time Post-Doc position in post-1945 history
for a period of 18 months beginning February 1, 2014. The salary will be E 13 TV-L. The place of residence is Munich.
The post is open to applicants in any area of contemporary history, preferably with a focus on the era since 1945.
Applicants must hold a PhD in history and should be able to communicate in foreign languages, at least in German and English.
Applicants shall work on subjects dealing with the question of coming to terms with the legacy of the National Socialist regime; research interest in aspects of the history of the Third Reich is recommended.
