The Department of History and the Institute for Research in African-American Studies (IRAAS) at Columbia University seek to hire a distinguished scholar at any rank from tenure-track assistant professor through full professor with tenure in the field of twentieth century African-American History, to begin 1 July 2015.
Candidates must have an established record of scholarship, teaching, and service. Teaching responsibilities will be divided between the History Department and IRAAS.
