The Department of History at Louisiana State University seeks a tenure-track assistant or associate professor with interests in training secondary education teachers in social studies. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in History (any field) and/or Education; working with the existing secondary education coordinator in History to advise and supervise student interns and mentor teachers, and providing leadership for the Secondary Education program; maintaining an active research agenda with regular publication and serve on departmental and university committees. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in History; strong research agenda and experience in secondary school settings.
