Morgan State University seeks a specialist in public history with a preferred sub-specialty in American urban history, pending funding. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate American history courses and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in public history. Teaching experience at an urban university, potential for scholarship, and ability to advise graduate students desired for junior applicants. Senior applicants should have a demonstrated record of scholarship. Ph.D. in history is required. For best consideration send cover letter, c.v., three letters of recommendation, and unofficial transcripts to address below by December 1. Interviews will be held at the AHA convention in January.
