The Art History Department seeks a specialist in African art, late 19th century to the present, with ability to teach introductory courses in African art of earlier periods. Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervision of B.A. and Ph.D. theses, and participation in the interdisciplinary African Studies program. Ph.D. required. Teaching experience preferred.
