The History Department at Siena College seeks a historian of Early Modern Europe for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship beginning academic year 2013-2014. Ph.D. required. Subfields in Atlantic World, gender studies, and the environment encouraged. The successful candidate will be encouraged to teach upper level Early Modern Europe courses in the college’s current catalog as well as develop new courses within his/her specialty. Additional responsibilities include teaching a college core survey course on 20th-21st-century world history. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education and professional development.
