West Chester University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Digital History/History and New Media. The area of specialization is open, but should complement departmental strengths. The hire is also expected to lead the Department of History in online teaching and learning initiatives and is expected to develop at least one distance education online general education course. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester. Applicants must demonstrate successful college teaching experience, provide evidence of scholarly promise, and possess demonstrable training or experience in digital humanities. Earned doctorate in history or an associated field is required at the time of appointment. Finalists must successfully complete the interview process and teaching demonstration.
