Assistant Professor - Early Modern European History
Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of History seeks an historian of Early Modern European History (1500-1800). Preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses on European expansion, exploration and colonialism; research specialization is open. The teaching load is 3-3, a substantial portion of which lies in the university’s General Education Program in history. The successful candidate will also teach upper division history courses and may contribute to a number of the University’s interdisciplinary programs. Candidates must have Ph. D. in hand by August 15, 2012. Applications will be taken through December 1, 2011;
