Public History: Roanoke College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor. Areas of specialization are open. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in the candidate’s areas of expertise and courses designed to fit into the college’s new Intellectual Inquiry curriculum. The college requires a strong commitment to undergraduate education; teaching experience is preferable. Research and professional development are expected and financially supported through travel funds and internal grants. Candidates should have or be near completion of the Ph.D. by August 2012. Candidates should also have a graduate level degree or commensurate experience in public history.
