PUBLIC HISTORY, with ability to teach U.S. Survey in the General education
Program, and courses in oral history and/or archival management. Willingness to develop
courses incorporating Mid-Atlantic local or regional history desired. James Madison University
invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin late
August 2012. Candidates must have the Ph.D., and should have teaching experience. Review
of candidates will begin November 1 , 2011. Applications should be
