The University of Georgia History Department invites applications for tenure-track assistant professorship in Medieval European history. We prefer expertise in the Mediterranean region. The position entails responsibility for teaching an introductory survey course, and upper division undergraduate and graduate courses in the subject. Candidates must hold a Ph.D at the time of appointment and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research. Starting date is August 2011.
