of Rural Health, Idaho State University. Her work focuses on cross-cultural
trauma and genocide from an historical persepctive, and she teaches courses
on peace and conflict. She has presented and published on captivity trauma,
human rights, secondary trauma, cultural relativism, and cross-cultural
conflict. She received her M.A. in history at Appalachian State University
and also studied at the Bayerische Julius-Maximilians-Universitaet in
Germany.
