Assistant or Associate Professor: African and African American Studies University of Nebraska-Lincoln Requisition #090520 The Institute for Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professorship in Africana/African American Studies. Applicants would hold a joint appointment with .40 FTE in Ethnic Studies and .60 FTE in a tenure home Department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Specific areas of interest could include one or several of the following: • Nineteenth or Twentieth Century African or African Diasporic literatures and/or cultures; • The Atlantic World; or • Colonial and/or post-colonial African Politics Additional expertise in African Diasporic Studies is welcomed. The Institute for Ethnic Studies was established over 30 years ago. It is an interdisciplinary unit housed in the College of Arts and Sciences and draws upon faculty from across the campus.
