The History Department at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of modern Latin American history, with preference for Mexican history. The selected individual will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Willingness to incorporate online teaching technology into the curriculum, or interest in developing online courses, is desired. An active research agenda is also expected. A Ph.D. in History by August 2010 is required.
