THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA The Edith Kinney Gaylord Expository Writing Program announces FRESHMAN WRITING SEMINARS Expos at OU announces two lectureships for 2010-2011. Each lecturer will design a topic-based course in the academic essay and will teach two classes of 14-16 students per semester. Contracts are for one year, renewable for five years with the possibility of a two-year extension. Starting salary for the 2010-2011 year is $40,000 with full benefits. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in hand by August 1, field open. Preference will be given to candidates with significant college teaching experience who demonstrate a lively interest in teaching composition and who favor interdisciplinary course design.
