INSTRUCTOR LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of History invites applications for a full-time, renewable non-tenure-track position in East Asian History at the rank of Instructor, beginning Fall 2010, subject to final approval of funding. Information about the department is available at http://www.luc.edu/history. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in History and a strong potential for excellence in teaching. Successful candidates will be expected to teach advanced undergraduate courses in Asian History as well as courses in the university’s core curriculum (Western and Asian Civilizations) and the Asian Studies Program. Review of applications will begin October 15 and continue until November 30, 2009, or until the position is filled.
