07 October 2009 Position Announcement - Cultural Anthropology Hunter College CUNY, Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure track position for an Assistant or Associate Professor in cultural anthropology, effective 01 September, 2010. The rank of Full Professor can also be considered for exceptional candidates. Candidates should have an active program of field research and publication. We are particularly interested in theoretically and methodologically innovative scholars. Specializations of interest include, but are not limited to religion, nationalism, health and medicine, language, environment, gender and science and technology. The Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment.
