Teach general education courses, including U.S. History and World Cultural Geography. Also, opportunities to teach 20th Century U.S. History. Scholarly work and university and community service expected. Minimum of a master’s in history, with preference given to the holder of a Ph.D. in history. Additional requirements include experience teaching geography at the university level and/or sufficient education in geography demonstrating geography competence. University teaching experience preferred. Anticipated start date is January 6, 2010. Salary is commensurate with existing salary structure.
