Job Summary: The Departments of History and Political Science at the University of St. Thomas seek to fill a tenure-track position in Modern Middle Eastern political history. The successful applicant will hold a tenure-track position in the history department with shared teaching responsibilities in Political Science (four courses/year for History, including survey level courses in World History and upper division courses in the applicant's field of specialty; two courses per year in Political Science, including one section of World Politics and one upper-division course in Modern Middle Eastern politics). The appointment will begin September 2010. A Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD will be considered. Teaching experience and active research agenda are expected.
