Tenure-track assistant professor, American Politics. Ph.D. required by August 20, 2010. Strong teaching and scholarly competence in American political institutions (particularly the presidency); ability to teach in the area of interest groups or political parties. Letter of application should describe areas of interest and possible courses one might teach or develop. Faculty normally teach three courses per semester including an introductory political science course, one mid-level and one upper-level/graduate course in American politics. Scholarly productivity and participation in usual service responsibilities are expected.
