The American University of Beirut The Edward Said Chair of American Studies The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Beirut invites applications for a visiting faculty position for the Edward Said Chair of American Studies to begin September 15, 2010. The Faculty is seeking a prominent scholar from any humanities or social science discipline, whose interests focus on American studies, broadly conceived. Scholars whose interests are interdisciplinary, or concern American interaction with the Middle East or the Arab World are particularly encouraged to apply.
