The Department of History and Anthropology at the University of Central Missouri invites applications for the position of Department Chair. Responsibilities include teaching six hours per semester and chairing the department of thirteen full-time faculty, offering programs in history, social studies, anthropology, and Africana studies. Qualifications include: a Ph.D. in history accompanied by demonstrated leadership ability with the capacity to build consensus and mentor diverse faculty and students. The successful candidate will possess a record of achievement in teaching, scholarly and professional activities, and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
