Colonial Spanish American History. The Department of History at Boston College invites applications for a historian of Spanish America during the colonial era. The successful candidate for this tenure-track position at the assistant professor level will offer broad and specialized courses in the history of Spanish America at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will also have a responsibility to participate in the Department’s Modern History Core. Ph.D. required by August 2010. Please submit a letter of application, CV, article-length writing sample, and at least 3 letters of reference.
