The history department at CSU San Bernardino seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Chinese history beginning in September 2010. The successful candidate will develop and teach a variety of upper-division courses in traditional and modern China, and also teach lower-division World History courses. An ability to teach another field in East/Southeastern Asia is welcome. S/he also will produce scholarly research and provide service to the university and the community. Salary will be commensurate with background and experience. PhD required by September 2010.
