We have a one year term position (50%) available, starting in September 2009. Ideally, candidates will have a PhD and a specialization in East Asian history (mainly Chinese and Japanese). It is anticipated that the full teaching load (4 sections) would be taught between September and December, 2009. We are also recruiting for a full-time one year term History Instructor, commencing in January 2010. Ideally, candidates will have a PhD and a specialization in world or modern European history. It is anticipated that the full teaching load (8 sections) would be taught between January and December, 2010. Candidates for both positions should have extensive post-secondary teaching experience. Minimum qualification for both positions is an MA in History.
